We’re excited to share a key update on our project’s progress!
The PROTO WP4 team has successfully evaluated and enrolled the first patient after confirming pathological gait mechanics. This marks a significant step forward in advancing care for patients at risk of knee osteoarthritis.
In our first year, we developed a machine-learning approach to identify patients with abnormal gait patterns following ACL reconstruction. Additionally, we designed a personalized physical training program aimed specifically at correcting gait abnormalities, grounded in scientific standards, to be implemented with these identified patients.
